Ad Council: Seize The Awkward
Nobody likes an awkward silence. In fact, we usually try to avoid it. But sometimes, an awkward silence can be a good time to check in with a friend about their mental health. During September, Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, the Ad Council partnered with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and the Jed Foundation for a massive, multi-platform campaign called “Seize the Awkward.”
We led the creative vision developing thought provoking, helpful videos that would inspire support for friends going through mental health struggles. The result was a series of videos that showcase the importance of seizing the awkward moment to check in, because having the conversation truly matters.
