Background
Reality TV is the #1 most watched genre on TV. It’s twice as popular as sports. So where can all the reality fans get together to watch their favorite shows? We needed to take over the scene.
The Challenge
We transformed a sports bar in South Beach into a Reality TV bar for a week bringing in the biggest stars from current and past reality TV shows.
The Strategy & Methodology
This was a multidisciplinary, mixed media production. Not only were we producing video content, a week long activation including the construction of a bar, we were live streaming segments including interviews and games with stars directly to Xfinity users. The production called for a killer PR strategy, partnership with social outlets including the famous Betches, influencer marketing, and then every version of production under the sun (event, digital, and content).
The Outcome
The campaign won a One Show award for Branded Entertainment. We also achieved over 16 million live streams and 31 million video views.
